	Eva Riccomagno
	Dopo aver conseguito la laurea in Matematica presso l'universita` degli studi di Genova, il 4/04/1994 Eva Riccomagno ottiene un posto come "research assistant" presso l'Engineering Design Center della City University, Londra. Quindici mesi dopo si trasferisce nelle Midlands inglesi come "research fellow" presso il dipartimento di statistica de The University of Warwick, ove conseguisce il dottorato in statistica nel 1997 con una tesi dal titolo Algebraic Geometry in Experimental Design and Related Fields. Dal 1996 e` impiegata su diversi progetti di ricerca presso vari dipartimenti della stessa universita` sino al 1999 quando migra in Eindhoven, Olanda come post-doc del gruppo di statistica applicata di EURANDOM. Il richiamo di Warwick/statistica e` forte, e ve la ritroviamo nel 2001 come lecturer, e poi associate professor. Attualmente e` in aspettativa da Warwick e lavora al Politecnico di Torino, Matematica come "cervello rientrato". Interessi di ricerca includono l'applicazione di metodi di calcolo simbolico principalmente alla statistica e probabilita`, ma anche in biologia e chimica. After her undergraduate studies at the University of Genova, on the fourth day of the fourth month of the year 1994 Eva Riccomagno migrates to the UK as research assistant in the Engineering Design Center, City University. Then she moves at the Department of Statistics, Warwick University as research fellow. In 1997 she gains her Ph.D. from Statistics in Warwick with the, possibly, first thesis on applications of algebraic geometry to analysis and design of experiments. From 1996 until 1999 she is employed on different projects at the same University. Then, she goes to Eurandom, Eindhoven, Holland. In 2001 she is back at Warwick as lecturer. At the moment she is on leave of absence from Warwick and she works at the department of Mathematics of the Politecnico di Torino. She is particularly interested in applications and development of symbolic methods for design and analisys of experiments, statistics, biology.
